my kids never get anything.
cause of not having enough money to buy food or go to laundry mat. i would like to take them to the movies they have never been to a movie in there life and they are 15 ,14,11,7. it would be nice to give them something. even though they never ask. they are great kids. we never go on vacation or get to the beach. they don't get new clothes for school they get used ones. it would be nice to make them feel special it this bad situation we are in. thanks (more)

Oh yeah..you might wanna check with your theatre...sometimes like on Sat mornings they have free movies for kids with discounted popcorn and ect...

Is there a discount theater in your area? We have one and movies are only $1 but they're like three months old. Until I started dating I had never been to a movie theater either except for that one, and occassionly a local theater in my area that's $3. Try searching for coupons to save money on a movie and go during the matenee if possible. Also, do what my mom taught me to do for snacks. You and any daughters take a empty purse. Stop at the dollar store on the way and buy candy to put in your purse, or find a store that sells penny or nickel candys. Take a can of pop from home (a lot of grocery stores sell 'loose' cans for less then a quater), and a baggie with chips or pop corn or anything you want. Take it all in your purse, or the guys can help if it's winter and they wear a heavy coat or they have big loose pockets on their pants. Once the movie is dark, get your snacks out and devide them. Noone will know, and your saving movey but still getting the 'movie' experence. I still do this because I refuse to pay those outragious prices for some stale candy or whatever. Occassionly I'll get a pop there or a small popcorn, but only if I have a coupon. Good luck and I hope you get your wish.
