I'm trying to give my family a better life by moving them out of New Orleans.
I need a car to do this because we will be leaving New Orleans for good or at least for a few years or however long it takes for New Orleans to get back to normal....My wife AND I HAVE BOTH SECURED JOBS IN ATLANTA, GA WITH JMENTERTAINMENT AND THE ATLANTA GET CRUNCK TV SHOW! We came back only because we heard that the job market was booming, but when we arrived and tried to get jobs we couldn't so that rumor we'd heard was untrue...On top of that the city is still in bad shape...my mom gave me this car only because it was flooded by katrina... interior was mildew and engine had to be repaired by the grace of God I had a friend that could repair it for me for free! All it's missing is headlights.. I have 3 kids ages 2yrs, 3yrs, & 2 months... Our family is scattered due to katrina so we have noone to bring us to appts., make groceries etc... We can't possibly drive the car without headlights.. (more)

So, you won $500 last week and then said that you found someone who could cut the CD master for $150. What are you doing with the rest of the money? Why not just use it to get where ever you are trying to go, get jobs, and then work on dubbing and marketing.
As a publicist, I know that it's not that difficult to market something on your own, if you are savvy. You said you both have degrees so it should not be difficult.

That's why I'm wishing for these headlights because my friend is repairing thhe car free of charge but the headlights are needed to drive it and right now we don't have the money for it! I cut hair and cater parties for a living as well as fix computers on the side but we haven't had clients! We have secured a house, & jobs we just need to get there!

I think you should stick to driving your car during day light hours just be home before dark, thats what I had to do, and I thought the money is abit to much seeing you can get those at any wrecking yard dirt cheap about $20.00 and a little tax, lupe
I understand.. I've been trying to deleted all the others except for this one and the diapers & formula which we really need asap!
I've seen him all over the place as well, and as much as I believe everyone should get their wishes, I believe it might be better if you did perhaps stick to maybe just 1 or 2 wishes at a time. It's not that everyone doesn't deserve what they want. However it seems as though you are relying too much on the Robinhood Fund. Keep your head high, and things will get better, just try not using this as a crutch.

I don't drive, but I sure appreciate it when my fiane takes me somewhere. It must be close to impossible to provide for your family when you don't have a way around. It's great that she was nice enought to give you the car, it's great that someone will fix it for free. It's great that there are such wonderful people in the world that will share their kindness with others!

Yopu must not understand what a hurricane katrina victims goes through... I lost everything and I'm not as asking robinhoodfund for everything back just a few major things that will help get out lives back... you need to take a trip to new orleans and see for yourself.. we don't even have street signs in some areas'a, you have to go miles to get food, no grocery stores are close and with 3 kids and no car that's hard!
