This young artist is using her work to save her family's home, to pay the bills and put gas in the truck to go to work
It would be much simpler for her to just sail away on one of the many sailing ships she has worked for before... and the same for her partner...
they have both chosen an unselfish road... and that's not naughty.

Some of those sketches are about this = far from keeping me up at night. nicely done.. just scary.
the photos are all gorgeous and most of the digitals are neato. all in all, a very deserving artist.

Northern Canadian Artist? Umm...not very northern if you consider Sudbury northern Canada. I grew up in the Yukon and NWT...now that's northern!

That is some pretty Dope work... While i am not an artist, or pretend to understand or really "get" art, i think this is a good cause, and i would like more Canadian Art to get exposure.
It would be nice if artists could actually live off their work!

I hope you win this money! I know that being an artist can be hard, not every artist makes a great amount of money. It's hard living as an artist sometimes and it's great that you've been working with art so long. Usually people give up working with art because it doesn't pay well. So, I really do hope you get this!

also, do you have a cam? Making a video for youtube showing you with your art and explaining what you are doing would be a great idea and likely get you more votes.
