I personally cannot afford these gas prices! Almost three dollars a gallon is just a little bit outrageous, and it's only going to get worse this summer! I do not think there is much that we can do for this problem, but it is my wish!! haha! Votes are welcome and very much appreciated! Thanks!

You should totally Win! SERIOUSLY in WV it's 3.15 even if it does take three hours to walk to work I'm about to sell my car because I'll also be able to get out of outragous insurance, taxes and other expensive pointless costs for the luxurie
Huzzah! Twenty pounds for the king! I feel your pain, because my mom is 25 miles outside of town and it's over $3/gallon where she lives. Just be glad you're not in Canada, here it's as high as 1.15/litre in places, which is $4.36/gallon. Which is ridiculous, since we produce our own oil and gas and don't have to import it from the Middle East or hurricane-devastated areas or anything like that.
I don't have an opinion. Meh. I am currently a middle class young woman making almost $17,000 and I don't for one minute feel gas prices are too high. Here where I live in Connecticut gas prices are $1.05 a gallon. That is fairly cheap. What are you paying?
Rally the troops! You should totally Win! I have received an e-mail twice about a gas out on the 15th - basically it is for no one to buy gas on May 15. Claims the last gas out caused prices to drop - so why not try right? Or at least we would make a statement!
You definately do not want to buy gas from Citgo guys! That is owned by Chavz - the president of Venezula who has openly bashed our government. (not that our government is all that wonderful but darn it is ours to bash not his!)
$$$*Ding*Ding*Ding*Ding*Ding*$$$ Hey did anyone hear about ....Not to buy Gas from exxon or Mobile Gas, those are the leading Gas hogs, and if you enough people stop buying Gas from them they will be FORced to LOwer their prices and if they lower theirs, then everyone else will also have to lower theirs! I really hope that made sense...it makes sense to me, and just a little bird told me so it is not totally factual, but hey I'll try anything if it works!!!
God bless, Good luck and hope your wish is granted! Does not help those of us on fixed incomes! Somebody NEEDS to do something to get the prices back down to a reasonable level $1.25 a gallon would be nice or lower!
We Got Ourselves a Winner!! Amen to this one!! We're a three car family and my husband and middle son are general contractors...lots of miles to drive and big gas-guzzling trucks. I try to drive my little SUV as little as possible - we just can't afford it. I'm dreading next year when I'll have two more kids of age and wanting to be on the road, especially if prices continue the way they are.
May all of your wishes and dreams come true! Gosh, wouldn't it be nice if winning this wish, really made it happen!!
I have a small car, that isn't too bad on gas, but I commute 50 miles each way to work each day. Thankfully, I also ride a motorcycle, so, weather permitting....I have been riding it.
$10 a week is way better than $10 per day!
I wish you well. I guess almost everyone would agree with you.
In the news I heard people are walking into pawn shops and taking off their jewelry so they can fill up. You got my 5 - Take care of yourself!
Rally the troops! You should totally Win! I'm with ya babe! Once I get my car in good working order, I wanna take a trip to the Coast to see Dad. But with Gas prices as they are, it's going to cost 50 bucks ONE way, and that's IF I'm lucky.
What's scary is there is already a tropical storm in the gulf, and it's not even hurricane season yet. Oh and this summer is supposed to be the hottest on record, so the gulf waters are going to be a LOT warmer than normal.
In 05, when Katrina hit, hurricanes started popping up in May, before hurricane season started in June. With that, and the fact that the Gulf waters are going to be so warm this year, I'm scared we're going to have another major impact on the Coast. If this happens, gas prices will be close to, if not over, 5 bucks a gallon.
But hey, at least we're not in Japan! They are already paying 5 bucks a gallon! ;)
Rally the troops! You should totally Win! No gas on 5/15/7- I have gas all of the time! LOL
I heard this am that Texas is talking about taking off the .20 cent tax for the summer months!!! Oh please Lord!!!
Great wish! I hope all goes well for you! I remember eight years ago, when I just got my license, gas was .85/gallon here! Now it's $3.09 at the gas station on the corner! And I know it's more than that in other states! I guess it's time to take out the bike and the bike trailer for the kids! lol
Good Luck, I hope this one comes true too!
Good Luck! I hope you get Your wish! I completely agree. Financially stressed at the moment. My son and I stay home because we can only afford to put gas in my husbands car to go to work. It's just ridiculous.

Woohoo, a worthy wish! And, if you win, you can hopefully buy a gallon of gas ;).
You got my vote too!

It would sure be nice, but I'm not goign to hold my breath.
Oh 5 stars on this one! If this keeps up I'm going to have to start riding my broomstick around again. sigh*
Yeah, I hear you. It cost me $25 to put gas in my tiny Kia. My gas tank only holds like 9 gallons!
